Our Services

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues.

It involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to target specific areas of tension and tightness in the body. The goal of deep tissue massage is to alleviate chronic pain, relieve muscle knots, and improve overall mobility and flexibility.

This type of massage may cause some discomfort during the session, but it can provide long-lasting relief and promote relaxation.

A deep tissue massage will typically focus on your primary areas of discomfort.

Sports Massage

A sports massage is a type of massage therapy specifically designed for athletes or individuals engaged in physical activity. It involves a combination of techniques, including deep tissue massage, stretching, and targeted pressure, to enhance athletic performance, prevent injuries, and aid in recovery.

Sports massage focuses on addressing the unique needs of athletes, such as reducing muscle tension, improving flexibility, promoting circulation, and speeding up the healing process. It can be used before an event to prepare the body, during an event to help with performance, or after an event to facilitate recovery and alleviate muscle soreness.

Full Body Massage

A full-body massage is a type of massage therapy that involves treating the entire body, from head to toe, using various massage techniques. It typically includes the back, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, legs, feet, and more.

The purpose of a full body massage is to promote relaxation, reduce muscle tension, relieve stress, and improve overall well-being.

Full body massages benefits with pain management for chronic pain, Speeding up the recovery process, Improving sleep quality, Helping with digestion, Reducing anxiety and Easing headaches (although it’s worth contacting your doctor first if you suffer from migraines)

Dry/Wet Cupping

Cupping therapy is a traditional alternative medicine practice that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. This suction is believed to promote healing by improving blood circulation, reducing muscle tension, and relieving pain.

During a cupping therapy session, the cups are placed on specific areas of the body, and the suction creates a vacuum effect that draws the skin and underlying tissues upward into the cup. This suction can cause temporary discoloration or bruising on the skin, known as “cupping marks.” The cups may be left in place for a few minutes or moved around to massage the area.

Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM)

IASTM therapy, or Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation, is a form of manual therapy that uses specialized tools to treat affected areas, such as muscles, tendons, or ligaments, and gently glides or scrapes it across the skin.

This technique helps to break down scar tissue, adhesions, or fascial restrictions, and stimulate blood flow to the area.

It aims to improve the range of motion, helps alleviate pain, and helps enhance tissue healing. It is often used in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, and rehabilitation.

Kinesiology Tape

Kinesiology tape therapy is a method of applying flexible adhesive tape to the body to provide support, reduce pain, and improve muscle and joint function.

Benefits include enhancements of muscular and joint function by providing support, stability, and proprioceptive feedback. Kinesiology tape is also used to add extra support to muscles or joints that need it.

It can help alleviate pain, reduce swelling, and improve circulation. The Kinesiology tape’s unique properties can also assist in correcting postural imbalances and promoting proper movement patterns.
